Mission Tips
Recruiting Heroes: You will need certain heroes to complete the last two tasks. To face the Epic Boss with the Avengers in mission 3, you will need to recruit Black Panther. To face the Epic boss with the X-Men in mission 3, you will need to recruit Nightcrawler, Gambit and Rogue. If you don't have them already, you will need to spend a total of 318 CP to recruit them.
Don't have enough CP to recruit the necessary heroes?: A popular suggestion is to grind enough CP to get Black Panther so you can complete task 25. You can skip task 24 by paying only 25 gold. Remember the conversion rate is 2 CP per 1 gold, so you would need to convert over 100 gold if you couldn't come up with enough CP to get the 3 X-Men.
Completing Tasks 1~7: Choose either side when entering mission 1 to get your first task. You can complete the first two tasks outside of SpecOp in either C2M5, C4M6, or C6M4. I recommend C2M5 because you should be able to complete a deploy as well soon after. For task 3, defeat the medium battle to encounter the mini-boss. For task 4, just accept 10 UISO-8 from your gifts or get them by converting 1 gold. Once that is done, fight your way to the main boss in mission 1 to complete task 5. There should be no need to use any UISO-8 on deploys yet. I would hold off on exiting the map after defeating the boss. You will need to 2-star the mission to complete task 7. If you don't want to repeat the mission, you may need to defeat the two low threats to get your mission score to above 103k. If you don't think it's possible, then just exit and replay the mission while you are waiting for research to finish.
Completing Tasks 8~10: Tasks 8-10 can all be done outside of SpecOps3. I recommend either C5M1, C5M4, C7M4, or C8M6 because these missions contain Jotuns and at least 3 deploys. Once you selected a mission, take two X-Men into battle with you for any battle to complete task 8. Then defeat at least 10 Jotun in the remaining battles to complete task 9. Make sure to deploy while you can but do not complete them until you have reached task 10.
Completing Task 11: This task is just a 24 hour research, but you have a couple of options. You can either wait out the timer or go back to mission 1 and 3-star it if you haven't already. You will need to do this eventually to complete task 23. If you do decide to wait, at least unlock the mini-boss on the avengers side of mission 2 so you are ready to complete task 12. Do not immediately accept your UISO-8 on a new day because you will need to accept them to complete a future task (see below).
Completing Tasks 12~15: If you haven't done so already, choose the avengers side when you start mission 2. Tasks 12 and 13 require you to defeat the mini-boss and boss of the mission, respectively. For task 14, hopefully you waited to accept UISO-8 from your gifts. To complete task 15, you will need to choose the X-men side of mission 2 and progress all the way to the main boss in order to use Magik in battle. Make sure that you use her Stepping Disc Ability 3 times before completing the battle, otherwise you will have to repeat the mission.
Completing Tasks 16~17: While you are waiting for the research to complete, go back to mission 2 if you haven't 2-starred it already. Or if you want to, you can try to 3-star the mission.
Completing Tasks 18~23: The ultimate goal here is to make sure you have 3-star mastery of mission 3 by the time you complete task 22. As of right now I am not sure if this can be done in 2 runs or if it needs at least 3, so I have written 2 methods.
- 3 Runs: Although you can complete tasks 18 and 19 outside of SpecOps3, you may want to consider doing them in mission 3 because the main goal is to get 3 star mastery of mission 3 and that might take more than 2 runs. First, choose the avengers side and complete the mission using avengers and you will complete tasks 18 and 19. Then you will need to play PVP in order to complete task 20. For task 21, replay mission 3 with the X-Men and defeat the main boss. For task 22, replay mission 3 again, bu this time as the Avengers and defeat the main boss.
- 2 Runs: This method will most likely require that you are able to unlock the epic boss with both sides (please read the last bullet if you are having trouble unlocking them). First you can complete task 18 outside of SpecOps3 in missions. Then on task 19, start mission 3 and choose the X-Men. Complete all the threats and deploys until you unlock task 20, which will need to be completed in PVP. Then for task 21, you can complete it by two-birding the main boss. You will also want to defeat the epic boss to increase your mission score. For task 22, replay mission 3 and choose the Avengers this time. Complete all threats and deploys, two-bird the main boss and defeat the epic boss. Hopefully that will give you enough points to 3-star master mission 3.
Completing Tasks 24~25: This should be self-explanatory, however I know there are some people that have trouble unlocking the Epic Boss. First of all, you will need the required heroes to deploy. That means you need to recruit Black Panther, Nightcrawler, Gambit and Rogue. Second, make sure you are choosing the correct side. For task 24 you want to choose the X-men side and for task 25 choose the Avengers. In order to unlock the epic boss, you want to defeat all 5 regular threats as well as complete all the deploy missions that show up. It doesn't matter whether or not you fight the mini-boss separately or with the main boss, though it's probably better to do it together.

i think they will have emma frost for you automatically when u need her to fight boss.
You dont need the heroes for the normal boss missions. But in epic bosses you may need to get the heroes to deploy them.

Seriously? This is getting retarded. Playdom should burn in hell for this. It's basically forcing us to shell out real money in order to get Magik. I would understand if the heroes required were ACTUALLY USEFUL, but come on. We already know that nightcrawler is virtually useless in any situation and is screaming for a buff to his attacks, Gambit can't really do anything, and rogue is just below average for a 90 CP hero(at most average). The only way I see around this would be to use 90CP to get Black Panther(collect enough for 90CP before end of event if you don't have this amount already) and use 25 gold to skip the task that requires Gambit, Nightcrawler, and Rogue.

if happends like OP2 Emma Frost I do this, I colect, near 28 golds of 4 star & lvl up, and at Ops finals, I no had ReD Scarlet, or Colosus and Phoenix for the Epic Boss, so I buy 12 ores, and with 50 ores I finish the OP and I get Emma, so 12 ores is no expensive, and a fast solution, only I loose the weapon to complete the cheez, but I never think to buy the pawn, is for pussy players, ho use heals and shields, Im 100 % attack, with golden deagle, sudden support and other thing that if u like to know, defeat me ;), but the point of this, sure is make money, nothing is free, only air, and ur syster =) ! good luck pals, and only is a game, enjoy that.

Thanks for the info, but then it's impossible for me to get Magik beause all I have is Rogue. Whatever, I'd still choose Scarlet Witch over Magik, Gambit, nor Nightcrawler. I'll be focusing more on getting those 3 weapons and upgrading the 2 of those instead.

Question spec op, "View Briefing" it's possible to get Magik without tasks 24~25 and make all 3 Missions 5 %tar ? Maybe the reward will be like in the story mode when after you complet full chapter 5 Star, get the golden weapon.

for those of you who complained about the game's "Difficulty":
- It's a freemium game (IMHO)! you can play for free, but for those who can't wait and are lazy, you can SHORTCUT your way by buying your way, so dont complain about people that do so, its just how LIFE is meant to be... :P
- This blog's author is helping us much with his strategies and posts, I am sure him being lvl 200+ (CMIIW) it is very generous of him to do so, and also CMIIW, I believe he never bought any of his way into the game, his efficient strategies shows it.
- Me? tell you what, I never bought any gold or silver in this game, when SpecOps 2 started I have only been playing MAA for THREE days, and I completed SpecOps 2 and obtained Emma Frost with one week time limit left, thanks to this blog. nuff said.
My tips (learned from this blog):
- DONT SPEND YOUR GOLD, EVER, wait until theres no other way left... Last task of SpecOps 3 would be good if you don't have all the CPs to recruit heroes needed for deployment
- SAVE your CP, I followed the author's tips and saved CP all the way to 100+ when he mentioned SpecOps 3 tips, don't rush the SpecOps 3 all the time, I spent more energies with regular missions than in SpecOps 3 because: 1) You can obtain CPs esp if yo havent 5-star those regular missions 2) leveling up gives you higher success for SpecOps.
Since I myself only has 120 CP stored and don't have all the x-men heroes required for last task deployment, my strategy is to keep playing hoping for CPs from roulette and 5-stars until last minute, if all fails, then I'll use my gold (got 60 stored from lvl'ing). My progress now? task 16/25, so I got lots of time ;-)

Another point for those complaining of drops/roulette never giving good stuff. My first completion of SpecOps 3 first mission, I got "Girls Best Friend" straight like that. It's a matter of chance crop, more valuable items has LOWER chance (%) of dropping, doesn't mean they'll never drop :-)

CMIIW, you got to finish task in succession, can't skip them like that.
If you have 25 gold, skip the last task immediately for Magik, 25 gold converted only gives you 50CP so think about it... a heroine of Magik's ability for only 50CP... I think thats worth it.

You actually can, even if you only have 1 other friend playing MAA with you, just keep sending each other 50x small energy gift every single day...
I started piling up small energies when they announced SpecOps 3, now I still have 200+ small energy packs.

Actually, I don't get CP by aborting mission. My strategy is to 5 star many of the missions to get the 5xCPs but I did not 5 star mission 4.4. The problem when u 5 star a mission is that after it is 5 stars, although u get 5 CPs, it becomes difficult to do as it scales to your level. So everytime I complete the epic boss for mission 4.4, and get my rewards I abort it so that I can easily complete mission 4.4 all the time (1 hit kills^^).
I've calculated, all I need is to farm about 15 CPs a day to complete spec ops 3 w/o even using gold. Since yesterday, I've farmed about 20^^ cos the Epic boss roulette can give 10 CPs.
Hey, this is my personal idea, i'm currently have 50Gold 50+CP, im gonna convert 20Gold to 40CP and recuit Black Panther for Avengers side, then for the X-Men side, i'm gonna use 25Gold to complete all the mission =) I think it works and it's free! =) Consider it!

- Give them bad luck, then boost your luck, and do Nerve Chop... bam! one hit EPIC kill (well, two hit, since Nerve Chop is two-hitter) by Black Cat for both boss.... ;-) (black cat did damage 3x boss max HP here LOL)
Oh! also, part the trick is let the other two party member heal/defend and do not attack the boss first turn if they moved first (since they would usually activate their counter-attack ability first)

If I killed 2 Epic Bosses (Task 24 & 25) before I finished 3 stars in Task 23, would it count automatically after I got 3 stars in all missions? Or I will have to kill those Epic Bosses again after Task 23?

Almost everything has to be done in order, so yes, you'll have to fight again. But, don't worry, it helped you reaching 3 stars faster. x]

That's not true Devil, Gamit is strong i already turn him into level 8. And he is strong. Also Rouge. All of them are strong, if you know how to play the game! :P

I had been farming for CP in Epic Boss but do anyone have any idea how can we increase the chances in the roulette thing? for the pass 4 days, I only manage to get 3 or 4 CP and sometime non at all
you're lucky... so far all the roulette rewards was crap... not to say special weapon.. not even CP... is there a trick or something?
steve, probably when he started a new character he got the choice of getting agent for free (I chose black widow as free hero when I started), lucky of him.
For the CP roulette drop, nope, its all percentage based random roll. I'm farming CP as well

whenever you beat a boss/epic-boss, you get a roulette chance of getting one from 9 items, 3 of them being CP drop. (for Boss its 1, 3 or 5 CP; for Epic-Boss 3, 5 or 10 CP)
farm them by beating boss then ABORT mission so the score doesnt register (if you register score and the mission becomes 5-star, it'd be harder to do it again)
There's no more CP farming. If you would like to get CP without spending your gold or real money, you can try to five star some of the missions wherein you could get like 5 CPS each. Another option is doing Chapter 1 mission 1, it has only 3 threats, so it only consumes like 30 energy and you could get a chance to get like 1, 2 or 3 CP from the roulette. And, the daily reward, it has 10 golds and 20 CP, so good luck to you.

I guess there is some time to wait, I had this issue 2 days ago before de 2nd appeared, and now I have the same with the 3rd one, completed, I had 3 stars mission 3 and can't complete the quest

I finished my SpecOps 3 with 12 days left and got Magik. I skipped only task #24 since I dont have the 3 unique heroes needed for the Deploy missions, even with that much time left, I doubt I can collect the CPs I need to recruit Rogue and Gambit and Nightcrawler (I dont have the time to be playing this game every 6 hours or so).
But anyways, I'm not boasting but instead I want to prove that all of us, as players who NEVER have to PAY for this game, CAN complete the SpecOps with proper strategy and calculations.

The question everyone should be asking, and no was is from some reason, is "does it worth it"? Does it worth to pay 90CP for the Black Panther? Is he any good char for 90CP? And is Magik that good of a character that we should go through all this trouble for her?
I'm at mission 24 atm, got 100CP and 30 Gold, and am wondering if I should bother getting these 2 characters, or just go for those I really want, like Spiderman or the Hulk... I've fought against and with Magik, and to be honest, she didn't make that much of impression on me, and the same goes for the Black Panther...
So I'll ask again, for all those who should be asking this as well - are these 2 any good at all, or you're doing this just cause it's a timed challange?

I did just today -.- and I have all the heroes needed for the deploy but Im stuck I need one more star to get the task but the game froze, and im out of iso-.-
From my personal opinion, black Panther is GOOD with proper use, he has a chance to cause dizzy to everyone attacking him and taking reduced damage at the same time. He's not a fast attacker, but the longer he stays in the game, the stronger he gets by his own abilities and buffs.
And so yes, if I were you and I have enough CP by converting 25 Gold to CP to get Black Panther, I would opt for getting Black Panther than skipping task #25
I know i wouldn't get that Magick but I have defeat many of Magick in PVP. So i guess,...wtf....with or without Magick, i still confident with everything that i have before.

50 golds can buy 100 CP
and if u strt recruiting the u wll need almost 250 CP nearly 125 golds

Spec Ops 25 is easy, Black Panther is a good hero too so I wouldn't skip it if I can finish it.
